An Amazing Find

After spending brunch at Brentwood’s Farmer’s Market, after a meal of grilled chicken and beef over rice, N and I headed on our way to do our bi-weekly shopping.

As always, N packed his bags with the usual : oranges, apples, tomatoes, potatoes, avocadoes, etc … since it was strawberry season, we picked up a package of non-pesticide strawberry as well.

Were on our way out when N had a sudden urge to spend his last $3.00.  Unfortunately, after unsuccessful attempts of me convincing to just leave with our $3.00 rather than “waste” it on something we didn’t want, at the end of market was a local flower stand with a memorial day special: EVERYTHING FOR $3.00.  Perfect! We spent our last $3.00 on a mixed bouquet, and here’s what it looks like after my magical touch 🙂

Note: I am not a flower person, nor do I want to do, but I think I didn’t do too bad here.
